An ideal mentoring relationship encourages you to reach your full potential by offering constructive criticism and sound advice—always useful tools as you navigate the complicated road of your career. Should you choose to contact one of NY-YIP’s volunteer mentors, you can be assured that it will be kept in the strictest of confidence. You can “shop” for a mentor based on area of expertise, location or choose someone with whom you already are acquainted—it is up to you.
